This is a goodbye post for Iron Hideout and this page will soon change to a webpage showing the history of Iron Hideout.

Iron Hideout stopped operating on 08th July 2024. It started in August 2020. 7 months ago I promised you a revolution consisting of a website, a Discord server, a guild, and revolutionized competitions. After the 12th and 13th competitions, I, PegasusRideR have decided to end it. Everything has a life, and it's pretty clear Iron Hideout's purpose is done and it's time to end the revolution. Here is why, the Iron Hideout Discord server started on 29th April, full of features, until today with almost zero activity and 5 architects. The website was about to be released as a beta at the end of the competition, but both the competition and the Discord server's results clearly proved that there was nowhere near enough support for a revolution to grow. Competition-wise, Iron Hideout Competition #7 had 39 submissions with 160$ prize pool and 4 weeks of time. Whereas Iron Hideout Competition #12 had 21 submissions with 3000$ prize pool and 13 weeks of time, and Competition #13 had 9 submissions with 1000$ prize pool and 7 weeks of time. It is clear that the competition lost its purpose of serving the hideout community as it has been doing it for years as you can read below in the "What did Iron Hideout Do With Me?" section. In this time, I served the hideout community for more than 3 years. But first, I have some things to say to everyone who believed in lies and left me alone on this path. For Iron Hideout, it will either stop here or maybe continue as being competition-only in the future. The Discord server will keep going as a hideout server. For the people who left me alone on this path;

Hideoutshowcase drama started on 28.05.2023, and this whole revolution started because I went to a Pantera show in Hungary 2 days later. So I will continue this paragraph using Pantera songs. There I thought, why can't I do the same? Start from where I left off? But I needed a website and a Discord server. When I came back from the show, even though I didn't just come back from another country, but also managed to come back from the dead as some of you know; I had " A New Level... Of Confidence and Power..."and directed them all to this revolution, working day and night, until I realized there is no way this is going to work... Because "You left me, incomplete, all alone, as the memories still remain..."😕🤘 . As in this 1 year period, I have lost my belief in the hideout community and chose to depart, as  "I'm Broken..." I don't think anyone else will do another revolution in the hideout community because "Revolution is My Name..."🪽

How I Wanted to Save The Competition and the End to the Hideoutshowcase Drama

I started with GGG. I sent them an e-mail asking for the competition to be  advertised on Path of Exile's news posts so it would attract more attention and I could continue it, which was declined( Click here to see the proof ). Then I contacted Darkspy the owner of Hideoutshowcase,  hoping that he would continue along with Revan, which he declined but the talk brewed interesting results I wasn't expecting of.   But before that, I want to say some things first. I know I promised you to make a full reply to the drama including the whole arsenal of the proofs I have gathered, but I do not want to at this point. Because if I tell you everything, it will hurt this community a lot including Hideoutshowcase, PoE Subreddit and even GGG itself. which all banned me unrightfully and only GGG lifted the ban but they did a lot of bad things to Iron Hideout Competitions by trying to end it one time, hurting it one time and more. It's not worth fully clearing my name anymore since the Iron Hideout Revolution has ended. However, I'd like to clarify only one thing. The reason I am telling this part is because first of all Hideoutshowcase's support to the competition was crucial, and what has happened hurt the competition the most. What I want to clear up is the thing that started all, the reason for me being kicked from Hideoutshowcase and losing their support: Me threatening a member and harassing countless members before the drama that supposedly led to me being kicked ( Click here to see the proof of Darkspy's announcement). Bullshit! In our recent talk where I approached Darkspy for them to continue the competition, he accidentally confessed that I haven't harassed countless members and was only kicked because my warning to Revan has been taken as a threat (Click here to see the proof, along with my sorries.added It is also a summary of the drama itself). You see with your own eyes, to be able to kick me, and be able to erase my efforts and help for years, the spies lied to all of you. These are all because Revan first declined my 9 competitions long(!) sponsorship which she first accepted, I readied the prizes and pictured them in 2 professional photo studios, I gave her a warning because her action would harm the competition, and she then told the owners lies about me such as I harassed countless membersand that she kicked me from the competition server whereas I actually left it myself after saying goodbyes and the server owner was someone else. (Acceptance:Click here for proof 1, Click here for proof 2 ; Refusal: Click here for proof. This wasn't her first impertinence, it was like the 4-5th... See one here, and another here.). So I gave her 24 hours there where she could rethink and turn back from her false decision, but seeing I was kicked from Hideoutshowcase hours later I decided to immediately act and made an announcement on Hideoutshowcase with an alt account(Click here to see the proof). What Revan did was a direct harm to the competition and I decided to take it back. Now, if you call this harassment or threat, I'm sorry but you need to snap out of your modern world illusion, this is only a warning. There when I was on the server, I also asked everyone to come out and speak if I harassed any of them. And I used @everyone command in my first post which pinged everyone everyone and it was kinder but I don't have a screenshot of it as posts were removed in a short time, but out of those "countless" members, no one spoke up (Click here to see the proof). Iron Hideout has been mentioned many times since then, and so far no one has come up saying I harassed them until the Hideoutshowcase drama. And after the drama, only Kwinnox spoke up  and his case wasn’t harassment. As I said in the screenshot about the recent talk I had with Darkspy, I only harassed 1 member in that server which is Morinmeth which was after the drama, and harassed Darkspy and Lightspy in the heat of drama then threatened Revan, Darkspy and Lightspy later on and for harassing and kicking members talking about Iron Hideout on their servers. And I already said my sorries to them except Revan, and I am deeply sorry once again. But as Darkspy hasn't declined, they harassed more people talking about Iron Hideout than I did. Now I ask you, who's the real guilty in all this? Worst of all is Revan failed to make a competition after all this, you can see here that she wanted to but failed(Click here to see the proof), whereas I did 2 competitions afterwards. I also offered the competition to Revan after Darkspy refused (Click here to see the proof), and see how toxic and impertinent she can get with your own eyes. This was also one of the reasons I got the competition from her, we kept on having intolerable conversations. I then offered it to a famous streamer who declined. And this is how the competition ended.

What did Iron Hideout Do With Me?:

I first want to tell you how Iron Hideout Competitions helped the hideout community to improve. Before I took Iron Hideout Competitions and made Competition #5 years ago, there were 11 months with no single hideout showcase, as there were only a few creators who kept on going. Before those 11 months and the competition, showcases used to happen regularly every 3 months, but were dead for 11 months. Then I put up Iron Hideout Competition #5, and they did a showcase at the end of that month on 28/06/21. I made another competition but there was an official competition, so the next showcase came 6 months after the last, again at the end of the month of Competition #7 on 27/12/21. Then they made the next showcase 3 months later this time on 30/03/22, once again at the end of the month of competition #8 and it included the work of one of the competitors, and the hideout community started to revive around those times. With competition #9, another showcase happened on 06/07/23. At this time, the hideout community has already made a long process on the way to reaching the activity of the old times. From this point, Hideout Showcases were done almost every month, from 06/22 to 06/23, skipping March, May, August and November, and they made 2 showcases in 2023 June. I also worked as a Coordinator voluntarily on the Hideoutshowcase Discord server until this point as you know where I helped the site and increased Creators a lot in the server which increased overall activity a lot. The next competition number #10 had the winner hideout in the 10/22 showcase. Also, this competition is where they stole our theme idea and applied it to their last official hideout competition. Number #11 had one in 01/23's showcase and three out of five in 02/23's showcase. And for a long time, people who entered the Iron Hideout competitions have been dominating hideout showcases. There I say "My efforts weren't for nothing." each showcase. After June’s showcases, the one-month schedule was broken because I skipped a league due to Hideoutshowcase drama and Revan failed to make a competition, and thanks to the bans, the 12th competition took 5.5 months long and occupied 2 leagues instead of the usual 1. It still managed to have 2 hideouts in 2 hideout showcases. Now GGG is unfortunately back to their 3-month schedule.

I want to tell you a bit about my competition experiences here. When I got the competition, I had only 9 days to prepare everything. Seeing only 9 submissions in Competition #3 and 13 in Competition #4, I decided to make some changes. Competition #3 didn't have valuable prizes and in Competition #4 they were added later on. And the community was very inactive. Seeing all these, I realized I had to make a lot of improvements, but the time was too short. I first ended up agreeing with GGG for two Delve Core supporter packs, one for Non-MTX and one for the MTX category, increasing the total worth of the prize pool in Competitions #2 and #4 twice, to 120$. Then I decided to do closed (blind) voting instead of open voting by changing the site from Strawpoll to Polltab, which improved the outcome a lot. Then I resurrected the weekly video and winners' video system from Competition #2 which weren't done in #3 and #4. I contacted Brittleknee and she said she will happily keep on supporting the competition,  by doing showcase and commentary streams on each one. And I managed to convince ZiggyD to advertise the competition on his Twitter. I also changed the competition’s timing and length, changed how videos were done, redesigned the forum thread, changed the rules a bit, made a whole new logo, and more that I can't remember at the moment, all in 9 days. Competition #5 ended up with 39 submissions, breaking the record of Competition #2 which had 36. It was also the first time an Iron Hideout competition got more than 1 entry in the MTX category, it had 8. But still, I wasn't happy. I both wasn't happy with the voting system as it could be cheated with a method, and I was also unhappy about the video system I was doing. There, until the start of Competition #6, I managed to form one of the best possible jury teams this community can offer including Synopsis, and guggelhupf reached my help with his idea of visiting (Favor was still a thing so visits were needed) and recording hideouts as weekly and winners' videos. I also managed to get advertisement support from Zizaran and PathofMatth. Everything was solved, except a problem. GGG didn't accept jury voting, strictly wanted community voting, and said they wouldn't allow the competition like that (Click here for proof). Here I risked everything by being stubborn on the jury team I recently formed, for the better, which some hate me now as they don’t know the truth. I hid this from juries, I just went ahead and posted the competition with physical prizes, increasing the tprize pool to around 150$, had some sleepless nights, and they didn't remove it. I also had an agreement with TFT for making 2 announcements on their servers each competition, which was a huge achievement for the competition back then, as TFT was super active and was a fully respected server. But there was a problem, an official hideout competition, which made people run out of favor, the competition ended with 18 submissions. My original intention was to run 2 competitions, improve it, and then pass it to the next host. But after that fail, I asked Fall if I can run one more, even though I was allowed to run as long as I wanted, and got a yes. Because what we all built in Competition #6 should have borne its fruits under my control in the next competition and make the planned huge blast, after that I planned to hand it to guggelhupf or someone else depending on the offer of the sponsor I would be looking for. Because I also wanted to cut my ties with the competition financially, I wanted it to fully stand on its own feet without needing me. There while announcing Competition #7 on the Hideoutshowcase server, I made a long post that I'm looking for a sponsor or a host and a sponsor. There we had a talk with Darkspy but he wanted community vote too, which I disagreed and not being able to come to an agreement, we decided to talk again after the competition ended. For the maximum effect, I improved the prizes by adding an Atlas of Worlds map and a cup to 2nd place too this time which improved the prize pool to 190$ including shipping. I also added the prize "Your hideout will be pinned on the front page of Hideoutshowcase.com." as a courtesy of Darkspy. I got advertisement support from PathofMatth on this one. This time I also did the videos myself as it was going to be my last competition, and I wanted everything to be as I wanted. For example, I did the technique I call stop&go constantly instead of the classic full walkaround to make the viewer take a bit of fresh air and look at what's around, which increased video recording time from 5-7 minutes to 20-30 minutes because of keeping on accidentally highlighting objects/NPCs. I mean, I went all in with this one so I would make a nice final and the competition would increase in popularity and would gain more reputation. The competition again broke the previous record with the same number of submissions, 39. But this time, thanks to getting rid of the mistrust of the community online poll-voting system, adding more prizes, and people trusting the legendary juries I was working with, all these resulted in a drastic increase in the quality of the hideouts. To me, it was the best Iron Hideout Competition done until that day, and I think it's still the best one. Competition #7 also broke the MTX submission record by increasing it from 8 to 10. There we had another long talk with Darkspy and he agreed to become a prizes sponsor with juries staying, though we had to reduce the prize pool to 60$ and remove the MTX category. I also stayed on the server, assisted guggelhupf as much as I could and shipped the prizes myself. I also handed the server ownership to guggelhupf before the competition started and gave myself the "Support" role which I placed to appear under juries. Guggelhupf did a very nice competition, Pirates as a theme didn't attract many submissions, it was also a bad league so it had 16 which was very low, but there were some really amazing hideouts that made it a unique competition. In the end, both doing videos and everything else turned out to be too much for guggelhupf's schedule and I had to come back to do #9. But my health status and irl problems were going bad meanwhile and all would be too much for me, even that guggelhupf was going to do the videos. So we decided to split the work. Everyone except Zakk who was very busy had a role other than being a jury in that competition. Zizaran once again helped to advertise the competition.The competition had 28 submissions and I think was a pretty successful one with all amazing hideouts, even though the prize pool was reduced to 60$ but had a slight increase to 64.8$. Well, actually 80.9$, because I added an additional orb myself and also paid the shipping for it, which no one knew about until now. I was also going to add an additional orb to Competition #10, but they switched to digital prizes. While the competition was going on, I was already in talks with Revan and 2 other candidates, in the end, I chose Revan and handed her the competition, before I took it back on 28/05/2023. Then I did 2 Competitions by totally revolutionizing the competition. 3000$ prize pool with the best physical prizes the whole PoE community has ever seen, renovated rules, 1440p videos on max settings that reached 32K and 3K  views instead of the usual 500-2000 our videos used to get, and   the first non-cheatable community voting method in the copmpetition with prizes to voters. The next competition came with a 1000$ prize pool and community vote removed with unfortunately 9 submissions and I decided that it was time the competition ended serving its purpose.

What did Hideoutshowcase Do With Me?:

I helped the Hideoutshowcase site and the server for 11 months before they made me the Coordinator. Shortly after joining I subscribed to Discord Nitro and used both of my Nitro boosts on the Hideoutshowcase server to unlock level 2 perks, and no one else has made a Nitro boost in the server’s history ever since. It’s back to level 1 now because my boosts were reset after the kick. The day I asked if Darkspy is willing to continue to support the competitions which he accepted, I warned him about an anti-virus error on the site which was hurting Hideoutshowcase.com's reputation. I helped the fixing of 3.15(Kalguurans and Expedition Locker) and 3.16 decoration and NPC additions(15 Synthesis decorations) showing up as MTX on the site by sending hideout files. Then I helped deletion of 4 scam attempts posted to all channels by informing the owners and became a Coordinator on the 4th scam attempt report on 04/22 which lasted until 05/23. The name Coordinator was actually created for me by the owners and I didn't ask for a new role or anything like that, I only said that I could delete those spam messages if they give me the rights to. Here I want to once again thank Darkspy and Lightspy for trusting me with this title and role. But no one knew what I did as a Coordinator in my time, because I wanted it to stay that way. My first idea was increasing the number of Creators and I granted all the roles by myself, which is what mostly increased server activity over the 10-month period starting from 06/22 to 04/23 until it stabilized, later on followed with a decline that is still going and kept on increasing in terms of momentum. At first, my idea of increasing the number of Creators was actually viewed as "Not super important " by Darkspy at that time and he also said, "I don't really care". After some manual additions from the members sharing hideouts, on the Discord server uploaded to their website account, the total number of Creators increased to around 55-60 and there were 32-36 online creators as the highest amount for a day at that time, whereas before there were only 4-6 creators online with 0 interaction. The server became much more active compared to before, with mostly creators talking, which I also had a plan to fix in my yearly server report I presented to Darkspy, but it was ignored. The report consisted of the ideas I took notes of, and gathered some from the ideas posted to the server and also to me via DM over the whole year after becoming the Coordinator, to stop the stabilization and provide an ongoing increase in overall activity. I sent my yearly report to Darkspy on 02/05/23 right before the decline started, but it turned out he didn't read it at all after a month, and only one of those ideas has been added by the recommendation of a creator. Then I provided all the released bases and decorations for the site from 08/12/2021 to 02/05/2023(10 bases in total and around 35 decos if we don't count the ones that came with those 10 bases), all in very short time after their releases(except one incident where Darkspy ran a script to get a couple of missing decos which wasn’t working before and didn’t work after that), informed him some of the problems like newly added NPCs showing up as MTX by sending hideout files of them, helped to improve the site with many ideas such as Buy from? that still showed masters and making it: MTX? Yes or No after the favor cost was removed, and helped him with everything he asked me. Then I was kicked on 28/05/23. Then there's an ongoing competition you know which becomes the hot topic in the server and the community when it's on, which I hosted 5 times and helped 1. Then I informed Darkspy and Lightspy about scam posts a couple of times and deleted a couple myself after getting the Coordinator role. Later on, I was asked not to delete the scam messages anymore for no reason but to inform Lightspy instead and leave the deletion to her. Okay, but deleting them was actually the point I became a Coordinator first! I literally checked the server 10+ times a day for a whole year to make sure no scam posts, drama posts, or inappropriate posts are made.. There was also a yearly site report similar to the yearly server report which again consisted of my ideas, the ones posted on the server and DM'ed to me. I was preparing it but it wasn't complete, and I later on decided to implement them on ironhideout.net. But I mean, I really spent a lot of time improving and moderating the Hideoutshowcase server and the site for 2 whole years, because Hideoutshowcase is at the heart of the hideout community despite being inefficient and not meeting the expectations; and the competition was the face of it. And I think I have a bit of a role in the increase of the server's activity and keeping the site up-to-date as I mentioned here, which would have increased much further now if my report was actually read by Darkspy, Lightspy or Revan, and also if I wasn't kicked and I was able to complete my yearly report for the site as it was the major blast I was planning. I also have to tell you that I am unhappy that I am unable to help Hideoutshowcase anymore, because as I said I believe it resides at the core of the hideout community.

What happens to me?

I will keep on creating, because "Yesterday don't mean shit, what's over is over and nothing between..."😉🤘
